The Park offers many outdoor activities including horseback riding, hiking, river rafting and canoeing on the Yadkin River, fishing, rock climbing and wildlife viewing. The Park is famous for its namesake, Pilot Mountain, which rises more than 1,400 feet above the rolling countryside. Easy access and pleasant winter temps make Pilot one of the most popular crags in the state, particularly during cooler days.
